Synopsis

Excerpt
"It's my scars," Vivi whispered, eyes downcast. "I'm embarrassed of them."
Max tilted her chin up to meet his steady gaze.
"You never have to hide from me, Vivi. Your scars are a part of you, and I love every part of you."
On her arms and legs, the lines faded with time. But it was her torso that bore the worst of it. Thick, puckered scars carved across her stomach and ribs, permanently etched into her body.
"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever known, scars and all," Max murmured into her hair. "Never doubt that, Vivi. You survived. You're strong. And I love you, completely and unconditionally."
Tears spilled down Vivi's cheeks as she melted into his embrace, all her fear and self-doubt dissolving in the warmth of his acceptance and love. In his arms, she finally felt whole, cherished, safe. This was her new beginning.
Max gently lifted Vivi into his arms, carrying her to the bed with reverence. He laid her down, his touch worshipful as he caressed her skin, tracing the lines of her scars with tender fingers. Vivi's heart raced, her body awakening to his touch, the last vestiges of her shame and fear melting away under the heat of his adoration.
Vivi's heart swelled with love and gratitude, and she smiled up at Max, her face radiant with joy. "Thank you for being my rock, my safe haven. With you, I feel like I can face anything, like I'm finally whole and complete. You've shown me what true love and partnership really mean, and I'm so grateful to have you in my life."
Max pulled Vivi closer, his arms wrapping around her in a protective embrace. "You've given me so much, Vivi. Your love, your trust, your unwavering support. You've made me a better man, and I promise to always be there for you, to love you and cherish you, no matter what the future holds."
